The rent per desk is £225pcm + VAT (£52pw) Utilities, Business Rates and Broadband are included, but you'll have to cover your own phone bill and for any printing you use. The deposit is 1 month’s rent, the minimum term is just 6 months and we would like to know 4 weeks in advance if you’ve decided the grass is greener elsewhere. You can even try before you buy and come in for the day to try it out.

If you are a freelancer or a small business with a creative offer then you'll enjoy sharing with us. If you are into environmental issues and ethical or sustainably designed products and services then we'll be able to collaborate on interesting projects.

Our studio is One Bermondsey Square SE1. There are between 3 and 5 desks with shelving and dedicated phone-lines free on the top floor from February 2010, or alternatively up to 300 sq feet if you're a business and would like half of the studio. The space is 700 sq feet and we also have a 330 square foot warehouse downstairs with an entrance on Tower Bridge Road that you could use as additional storage, distribution or share as a workshop with us. With your key you’ll have 24hr access and the building is alarmed.

Each desk has its own phone line and number, power and ethernet network point. We can reconfigure these depending on what you want to do, and also have a static IP address if you want to configure external access.

We have a table which we also use for lunch. There is also a fridge freezer and kitchenette. For meetings and workshops we can re-arrange the open-plan space and have successfully held meetings for 10 people in the past. Alternatively for private meetings you can entertain clients in Sobo, Coffee@, or Del Aziz and the Hotel has larger meeting spaces. In fact there are several places so have a look around the area.

The Bermondsey Square redevelopment has just been completed. From our top floor studio we overlook the Square and the Friday Antiques Market. There is also a Farmers Market on Saturdays and there are regular Art House screenings at Shortwave Cinema Bar. The Square also has a Hotel, Sainsbury’s, Del Aziz and has regular events including outdoor cinema in the summer. If you have a good work/life balance and like walking breaks, then we are not far from the Design Museum, the Fashion and Textile Museum and there is plenty more in the London Bridge area such as Borough Market.

Getting here is easy:
The following busses stop right outside: C10, 1, 42, 78, 188. If you prefer the tube or trains then London Bridge Station is a 10 minute walk, (or longer if you’re distracted by the shops, cafes and pubs on Bermondsey Street) or Borough Station is also a 10 min walk down Long Lane. Try out the journey planner opposite and remember you can edit the search options to add cycling for a route. We have indoor space for bicycles in our storage area, and can lend you our sturdy Christiana bike trailer if you need to transport heavy loads.
